45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Citlali Botello has been named the 2021 Outstanding
67 Student at Amarillo College Moore County Campus; and
78 WHEREAS, Ms. Botello was nominated for the honor by four
89 different ACMCC faculty members, and her exemplary academic
910 performance and involvement in campus and community activities
1011 earned her the prestigious distinction; in addition to conducting
1112 campus tours and leading tutoring and study groups as a student
1213 ambassador, she has participated in events such as the United Way
1314 Day of Caring and the Dogie Days parade; over the course of her time
1415 at the college, she has also earned repeated placement on the dean's
1516 list; and
1617 WHEREAS, This notable young Texan graduated from ACMCC on May
1718 14, 2021, with an associate degree in pre-nursing, and she plans to
1819 continue her studies at West Texas A&M University; an alumna of
1920 Dumas High School, she was a recipient of a QUEST scholarship from
2021 the Dumas Education Foundation; and
2122 WHEREAS, Citlali Botello has demonstrated a steadfast
2223 commitment to academic excellence, and she may reflect with pride
2324 on her accomplishments as she looks forward to a future bright with
2425 promise; now, therefore, be it
2526 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
2627 Legislature hereby congratulate Citlali Botello on her selection as
2728 the 2021 Outstanding Student at Amarillo College Moore County
2829 Campus and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
2930 in all her endeavors; and, be it further
3031 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3132 prepared for Ms. Botello as an expression of high regard by the
3233 Texas House of Representatives.
