H.R. No. 1642
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Isabel Hernandez was elected as the District 4
representative on the El Paso Independent School District Board of
Trustees in May 2021; and
WHEREAS, The members of the El Paso school board work in
conjunction with administrators, classroom teachers, and parents
to foster a supportive and challenging environment at the
district's schools; in so doing, they play an essential role in
providing students with a strong academic foundation on which to
build a bright and prosperous future; and
WHEREAS, In accepting the responsibilities of serving on the
El Paso school board, Isabel Hernandez has made an exemplary
commitment to her fellow citizens, and her vision and leadership
will be integral in guiding the district's vital educational
mission in the years ahead; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Isabel Hernandez on being elected
to the El Paso Independent School District Board of Trustees and
extend to her sincere best wishes for a successful tenure in office;
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Hernandez as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
