| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Earning their second championship since 2015, the |

| 10 | 11 | | Lions proved unstoppable in their playoff contests; they began with |

| 11 | 12 | | dominant victories over Austin and Anderson High Schools to advance |

| 12 | 13 | | to the Division 2 title game; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Matching up against Prosper High School in the |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | finale, McKinney jumped out to a two-goal lead in the first half and |

| 15 | 16 | | then put the game away after intermission, outscoring Prosper 8-1 |

| 16 | 17 | | to clinch an 18-9 win and claim the state crown; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Guided by head coach Pam Henry, the Lions received |

| 18 | 19 | | valuable contributions from each member of the roster over the |

| 19 | 20 | | course of the 2021 campaign; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Winning a state championship is the culmination of |
