H.R. No. 1661
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Rita Cook has ably served her fellow Texans as
policy advocacy director in the office of State Representative Carl
O. Sherman during the 87th Legislature; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Cook's resourcefulness and initiative have
earned the appreciation of her colleagues, and her contributions to
carrying forth Representative Sherman's legislative agenda have
helped address issues facing citizens across the Lone Star State;
and
WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her
duties as policy advocacy director with skill and dedication, and
she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Rita Cook for her service as policy
advocacy director in the office of State Representative Carl O.
Sherman and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
in all her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Cook as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
