R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Katherine Jane Moore Crittendon and Lynn H.
Crittendon, the owners of Moore Ranch in Jeff Davis County, are
being presented with a 2021 Lone Star Land Steward Ecoregion Award
by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department; and
WHEREAS, Established in 1996 by TPWD, the Lone Star Land
Steward Awards celebrate excellence in private land conservation by
recognizing landowners for their outstanding stewardship of our
state's land, water, habitat, and wildlife resources; and
WHEREAS, The natural beauty and diverse ecologies of the Lone
Star State depend greatly on the care and oversight demonstrated by
its landowners, and these conscientious and hardworking Texans are
helping to preserve precious resources for future generations; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate the members of the Crittendon
family on their receipt of this prestigious accolade and extend to
them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Katherine Jane Moore Crittendon and Lynn H. Crittendon
as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of
Representatives.
