| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Established in 1996 by TPWD, the Lone Star Land |

| 10 | 11 | | Steward Awards celebrate excellence in private land conservation by |

| 11 | 12 | | recognizing landowners for their outstanding stewardship of our |

| 12 | 13 | | state's land, water, habitat, and wildlife resources; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The natural beauty and diverse ecologies of the Lone |

| 14 | 15 | | Star State depend greatly on the care and oversight demonstrated by |

| 15 | 16 | | its landowners, and these conscientious and hardworking Texans are |
