56 WHEREAS, Cameron Boger of Mesquite High School achieved great
67 distinction by winning the bronze medal in the 6A 300-meter hurdles
78 at the 2021 University Interscholastic League Track & Field State
89 Meet; and
910 WHEREAS, Joining the other top high school competitors in
1011 Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 8, Mr. Boger turned
1112 in a notable performance, clocking in at 36.69 seconds to claim
1213 third place in the event; and
1314 WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for
1415 high school track and field athletes, Cameron Boger has ably
1516 represented his school and community, and he will cherish his
1617 memories of this outstanding accomplishment for years to come; now,
1718 therefore, be it
1819 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
1920 Legislature hereby congratulate Cameron Boger on his bronze medal
2021 finish in the 300-meter hurdles at the 2021 UIL Track & Field State
2122 Meet and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success;
2223 and, be it further
2324 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2425 prepared for Mr. Boger as an expression of high regard by the Texas
2526 House of Representatives.
