| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The members of Eagle's Nest Ministries of Conroe are |

| 6 | 7 | | gathering on February 28, 2021, to celebrate the 15th anniversary |

| 7 | 8 | | of the church's founding; and |
|---|
| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, This nondenominational congregation was established |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | by Pastor Jeff Williams on March 1, 2006, and its bucolic 16-acre |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | property encompasses a 12,000-square-foot worship facility as well |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | as housing and recreation facilities; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Eagle's Nest is also home to Soaring Eagles, a |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | 12-month reentry program for ex-offenders that provides them with a |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | place to live and opportunities for instruction, personal and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | spiritual growth, and healing; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, United by their shared faith, the members of this |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | notable house of worship have established a variety of other |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | commendable programs that foster fellowship and offer help to those |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | in need, including discipleship training and a weekly Bible study |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | class; and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, For 15 years, Eagle's Nest Ministries has served as |

| 22 | 23 | | a source of inspiration and solace to the members of its |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | congregation, and many who worship there have experienced a renewal |

| 24 | 25 | | of their faith and the welcoming embrace of a caring community; now, |

| 25 | 26 | | therefore, be it |

| 26 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |

| 27 | 28 | | Legislature hereby commemorate the 15th anniversary of Eagle's Nest |

| 28 | 29 | | Ministries of Conroe and extend to its members sincere best wishes |
