| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Taryn Feigen has been named chief of staff in the |

| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, In fulfilling the duties of her new role, Ms. Feigen |

| 8 | 9 | | will draw on a wealth of valuable experience; during the 86th and |

| 9 | 10 | | 87th Legislatures, she has served as a legislative director, and |

| 10 | 11 | | her contributions to carrying forth Representative Israel's |

| 11 | 12 | | legislative agenda have helped address issues facing citizens |

| 12 | 13 | | across the Lone Star State; in addition, she has benefited the Texas |

| 13 | 14 | | Department of Insurance as assistant director of external relations |

| 14 | 15 | | in the Division of Workers' Compensation, and she has worked as a |

| 15 | 16 | | legislative aide in the office of State Representative Nicole |

| 16 | 17 | | Collier and as a legislative research assistant at Vote Smart; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Deeply dedicated to her community, Ms. Feigen has |

| 18 | 19 | | given generously of her time and talents to a number of civic |

| 19 | 20 | | organizations and causes, including voter registration as a Travis |

| 20 | 21 | | County Volunteer Deputy Registrar; she has also served the Young |

| 21 | 22 | | Women's Alliance as the co-vice president of operations and the |

| 22 | 23 | | Girls Empowerment Network as a member of the volunteer leadership |

| 23 | 24 | | committee; she is a graduate of the City of Austin CityWorks Academy |

| 24 | 25 | | and holds a bachelor's degree in government from The University of |

| 25 | 26 | | Texas at Austin; and |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Taryn Feigen has demonstrated a steadfast |
