10 | 11 | | Bishop Dixon is the founder of several impactful organizations and |

11 | 12 | | initiatives, including Good Gang USA, Harris County Council for a |

12 | 13 | | Safer County, Create a Safer Place for Me, and Black Men Rise, among |

13 | 14 | | others; he has served as special projects director of Global United |

14 | 15 | | Fellowship, and through his work on the board of the Samaritan's |

15 | 16 | | Feet organization, he has helped to distribute more than six |

16 | 17 | | million pairs of shoes to children in 60 countries around the world; |

18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, From 1995 to 1999, Bishop Dixon chaired the social |

20 | 21 | | and in 2008, in the aftermath of Hurricane Ike, he helped distribute |

21 | 22 | | 100,000 meals and care packages to citizens of Houston; he is a |

22 | 23 | | former board member of United Way of Greater Houston, the |

23 | 24 | | Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County, and the Acres Home |

24 | 25 | | Chamber for Business and Economic Development, Inc., and he has |

25 | 26 | | served as an advisor to the Harris County Constables and the Harris |

26 | 27 | | County Sheriff's Office; moreover, he is the author of several |

27 | 28 | | books, including The Difference Is Vision and The Secret of the |

28 | 29 | | Seed, as well as a songwriter and producer; and |

29 | 30 | | WHEREAS, For many years, Bishop Dixon has dedicated himself |
