| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Businesses that employ Texans and support the |

| 7 | 8 | | and the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of The Southwest has made |

| 8 | 9 | | significant contributions to the San Antonio community; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Established in 1986, this subsidiary of The |

| 10 | 11 | | Coca-Cola Company provides jobs to some 170 people and generates |

| 11 | 12 | | more than $21 million in sales while efficiently providing |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Coca-Cola products to the region; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, In addition, the company is actively engaged in the |

| 14 | 15 | | community through such endeavors as its recent generous donation to |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | the San Antonio Food Bank; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, By creating jobs and demonstrating good corporate |

| 17 | 18 | | citizenship, the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of The Southwest is |

| 18 | 19 | | truly deserving of recognition for the positive role it plays in San |

| 19 | 20 | | Antonio; now, therefore, be it |

| 20 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
