H.R. No. 1959
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Tessa Nemec has ably served her fellow Texans as an
aide in the office of State Representative Rafael Anchía during the
87th Legislative Session; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Nemec has provided
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Nemec holds a bachelor's degree in women's and
gender studies from Southern Methodist University, and she is
currently pursuing a master's degree in public affairs at the LBJ
School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin; she
hopes to devote her career to ensuring that her fellow Texans have
access to quality sexual and reproductive health care; and
WHEREAS, This outstanding individual has performed her
duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Tessa Nemec for her service as a
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Rafael
Anchía and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
in all her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Nemec as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
