| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Tessa Nemec has ably served her fellow Texans as an |

| 7 | 8 | | 87th Legislative Session; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Nemec has provided |

| 9 | 10 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |

| 10 | 11 | | in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |

| 11 | 12 | | service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Nemec holds a bachelor's degree in women's and |

| 14 | 15 | | gender studies from Southern Methodist University, and she is |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | currently pursuing a master's degree in public affairs at the LBJ |

| 16 | 17 | | School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin; she |

| 17 | 18 | | hopes to devote her career to ensuring that her fellow Texans have |

| 18 | 19 | | access to quality sexual and reproductive health care; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding individual has performed her |

| 20 | 21 | | duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is |

| 21 | 22 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
