5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Hanna Lisenbe has provided valuable public service |

7 | 8 | | great State of Texas as scheduler and legislative assistant in the |

8 | 9 | | office of State Representative Four Price during the historic 87th |
---|
9 | 10 | | Legislative Session, which occurred during an ongoing global |
---|
10 | 11 | | pandemic and was interrupted by a series of unprecedented winter |
---|
11 | 12 | | storms that disrupted the entire state for more than a week; and |
---|
12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Lisenbe has applied her academic knowledge and |
---|
13 | 14 | | gained practical hands-on experience in Texas government through |
---|
14 | 15 | | her participation in the Agricultural and Natural Resources Policy |
---|
15 | 16 | | Internship Program of Texas A&M University; and |
---|
16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, This accomplished young adult was selected for her |
---|
17 | 18 | | internship assignment by the office of Representative Price due to |
---|
18 | 19 | | her prior academic achievement, strong interest in health care and |
---|
19 | 20 | | water policy, and outstanding performance during her intern |
---|
20 | 21 | | interview, in which she responded to questions in a conversational, |
---|
21 | 22 | | succinct, and energetic manner; and |
---|
22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, In her role as scheduler and legislative assistant, |
---|
23 | 24 | | Ms. Lisenbe has capably handled the many, varied responsibilities |
---|
24 | 25 | | assigned to her, which included relaying incoming communications to |
---|
25 | 26 | | the senior office staff, helping address constituent concerns and |
---|
26 | 27 | | casework, providing policy staff support in the tracking of |
---|
27 | 28 | | legislation, and assisting senior staff with Representative |
---|
28 | 29 | | Price's work on the House Committee on Natural Resources and the |
---|
29 | 30 | | House Committee on Public Health; and |
---|
30 | 31 | | WHEREAS, Well-liked for her team spirit, can-do attitude, |
---|
31 | 32 | | friendly personality, and solid work ethic and habits, Ms. Lisenbe |
---|
32 | 33 | | has capably completed all of her assignments in a responsible and |
---|
33 | 34 | | timely fashion, and she has consistently demonstrated a genuine |
---|
34 | 35 | | desire to learn through assigned tasks; and |
---|
35 | 36 | | WHEREAS, After continuing to work part of this summer in |

36 | 37 | | Representative Price's Capitol office, Ms. Lisenbe will return to |
---|
37 | 38 | | Texas A&M University for her senior year and complete her remaining |
---|
38 | 39 | | undergraduate coursework in animal science; with her soon-to-be |
---|
39 | 40 | | completed bachelor of science degree, her strong work ethic, and |

40 | 41 | | the extensive legislative experience she has gained at the Texas |
---|
41 | 42 | | Capitol, this Fightin' Texas Aggie will undoubtedly excel in |

42 | 43 | | achieving her future goals; now, therefore, be it |

43 | 44 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |

44 | 45 | | Legislature hereby commend Hanna Lisenbe for her public service as |

45 | 46 | | scheduler and legislative assistant in the office of State |

46 | 47 | | Representative Four Price and extend to her sincere appreciation |
