| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Grayson Nicchio is participating in one of life's |

| 6 | 7 | | pivotal milestones with his graduation from James Bowie High School |

| 7 | 8 | | in Austin on June 3, 2021; and |
|---|
| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Nicchio can reflect with great pride on the |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | perseverance he has demonstrated in the pursuit of his goals |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | throughout his high school career; a talented athlete, he has |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | excelled as a member of the Bowie football and baseball teams for |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | all four years; with nearly 3,000 students, Bowie is the largest |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | high school in the Austin Independent School District, and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | Mr. Nicchio has demonstrated tremendous skill and ability in rising |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | to the top of tough competitions for positions on sports teams; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, In addition to his athletic achievements, this |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | outstanding young Texan has participated in a number of campus |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | activities; through his involvement with the Key Club, he has |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | contributed to numerous campus-area projects, food drives, and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | other initiatives; further, he has made a positive difference in |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | the greater community as a founding member and officer of the Austin |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | chapter of the Alpha Charity League, a mother-son volunteer |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | organization that provides a wide range of assistance through |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | fundraisers and partnerships with such entities as Ronald McDonald |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | House Charities of Central Texas; exceeding league membership |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | requirements in his five years of involvement, he has also helped |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | organize presentations by area business leaders; in the fall, |
|---|
| 28 | 29 | | Mr. Nicchio plans to enroll at Texas A&M University, where he will |

| 29 | 30 | | pursue a degree in business administration; and |

| 30 | 31 | | WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |

| 31 | 32 | | outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and |

| 32 | 33 | | friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with |
