| 11 | 12 | | notable progress in improving outcomes among economically |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Nominated in the Exemplary Achievement-Gap-Closing |

| 14 | 15 | | category, Vista Hills Elementary serves approximately 650 students |

| 15 | 16 | | in preschool and kindergarten through sixth grade; the school |

| 16 | 17 | | offers a wide range of innovative programs, including its |

| 17 | 18 | | Research-Based Instruction Fine Arts Program and STEAM lab, |

| 18 | 19 | | bilingual program, and EngageMe Initiative; moreover, the campus |

| 19 | 20 | | provides a variety of extracurricular opportunities, including the |

| 20 | 21 | | Crusaders with Character student group; and |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Through hard work and perseverance, the teachers and |

| 23 | 24 | | of scholastic excellence, and their outstanding efforts are indeed |

| 24 | 25 | | deserving of recognition; now, therefore, be it |
