| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Sculptor Craig Campobella of Conroe has gained wide |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Specializing in figurative and representational |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | bronze sculptures, Mr. Campobella is well known as the creator of |

| 10 | 11 | | "The Texian," a 14-foot-tall bronze depiction of the common |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | fighting man of the Texas Revolution; it is the focal point of the |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Lone Star Monument and Historical Flag Park, a popular Montgomery |

| 13 | 14 | | County site adjacent to the library; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, A number of businesses have commissioned |

| 15 | 16 | | Mr. Campobella's works, among them "Texas Lady Liberty," displayed |

| 29 | 30 | | profile of the Conroe Downtown Arts District; in addition, he has |

| 30 | 31 | | served in leadership roles with such organizations as the Conroe |

| 31 | 32 | | Art League, Downtown Design Committee, and the Conroe Commission on |

| 33 | 34 | | WHEREAS, Through his talent and deep commitment to Texas |
