| 7 | 8 | | proud parents of a darling baby boy, Slade Lester Kamin Hansel; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, This charming bundle of joy made his long-awaited |

| 9 | 10 | | debut at 2:16 a.m.; Slade's birth has brought great happiness not |

| 10 | 11 | | only to his parents, Houston City Council member Abbie Jordana |

| 11 | 12 | | Kamin and Matthew Slade Crandall Hansel, but also to his |

| 12 | 13 | | grandparents, Mark Yarno Kamin, Juli Lando Hall, Charles Robert |

| 13 | 14 | | Hansel, and Theresa Marie Crandall; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Slade's name pays tribute to two of his |

| 15 | 16 | | great-grandfathers, Alan Slade Crandall, an ophthalmologist who |

| 16 | 17 | | often donated his medical services, and Lester Kamin, the creator |

| 17 | 18 | | of a small media empire and a pioneer of Houston's cable television |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Slade begins his life secure in the safe and loving |
