 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, A life lived with joy and purpose drew to a close
 with the passing of Mary Ann Mulkern Vignaux of Midlothian on
 February 5, 2021, at the age of 64; and
 WHEREAS, The daughter of Michael Mulkern and Mary McDonagh
 Mulkern, the former Mary Ann Mulkern was born in Norwood,
 Massachusetts, on May 6, 1956; her father passed away when she was
 only 12 years old, and she helped her mother care for nine younger
 siblings, John, Eileen, Patricia, Michael, Theresa, Catherine,
 Nancy, Kevin, and Christine; and
 WHEREAS, After graduating from Norwood High School,
 Ms. Vignaux went on to earn certification as a licensed practical
 nurse, and she began her professional career at the West Roxbury
 Veterans Administration hospital; in 1996, she transferred to the
 Dallas VA hospital, where she continued to provide skilled,
 compassionate care for veterans with spinal cord injuries, multiple
 sclerosis, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis; she retired in 2019;
 and
 WHEREAS, Ms. Vignaux shared a fulfilling marriage with her
 husband, Richard Vignaux, that spanned 43 years; she was the
 devoted mother of four children, Michael, Maureen, Patricia, and
 Catherine, and she took great pride in her five grandchildren,
 Eamon, Keiran, Finn, Kessler, and Jolie; she loved cooking big,
 wonderful meals for family and friends, and she rounded up as many
 relatives as possible for vacations at Loyd Park in Grand Prairie,
 Jellystone Park in Burleson, Turner Falls in Oklahoma, and
 Nantasket Beach and Lake Sunapee in New England; and
 WHEREAS, Although Mary Ann Vignaux will be deeply missed by
 those she left behind, they will forever remember the warmth and
 kindness she brought into their lives; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Mary Ann Mulkern
 Vignaux and extend sincere condolences to her family and friends;
 and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Mary Ann
 Vignaux.
