| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Located in Central El Paso, the Washington – Delta |

| 9 | 10 | | Neighborhood Association empowers and engages area residents |

| 10 | 11 | | through advocacy and the coordination of projects and activities; |

| 11 | 12 | | the group strives to build strong relationships among neighbors, |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, As part of the greater El Paso community, the |

| 14 | 15 | | Washington – Delta Neighborhood Association contributes to the |

| 15 | 16 | | vibrancy and growth of a forward-looking city that is committed to |

| 17 | 18 | | residents with outstanding recreational, cultural, and educational |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, The vitality of a community depends in large measure |

| 24 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
