| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The TMEA All-State designation is among the most |

| 9 | 10 | | prestigious accolades a Texas choir student can earn; each fall, |

| 10 | 11 | | more than 70,000 young musicians from across the state compete for |

| 11 | 12 | | the honor, and only two percent are ultimately chosen to be part of |

| 12 | 13 | | an All-State ensemble; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Romero has distinguished himself by earning a |

| 14 | 15 | | place in an All-State ensemble for four consecutive years; he is |

| 15 | 16 | | only the second person from El Paso to attain such a remarkable |

| 16 | 17 | | distinction; and |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Through countless hours of preparation and an |

| 18 | 19 | | unwavering commitment to excellence, this young Texan has earned a |
