| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, In February 2021, citizens across Texas experienced |

| 7 | 8 | | District 26, the staff of CraftWorx played an important role in |

| 8 | 9 | | helping the community respond to this unprecedented emergency; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Led by founder Alexis Geissler, CraftWorx is a |

| 10 | 11 | | family-owned craft studio and maker space in Richmond; the business |

| 11 | 12 | | served as a place of warmth and shelter during the storm, opening |

| 12 | 13 | | its doors to local residents seeking refuge from the winter |

| 13 | 14 | | weather; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Demonstrating exceptional initiative and |

| 15 | 16 | | perseverance during a time of crisis, the staff of CraftWorx |

| 16 | 17 | | dedicated time and resources to help those in need, and they are |

| 17 | 18 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for their efforts; now, |

| 19 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
