| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, In February 2021, citizens across Texas experienced |

| 7 | 8 | | District 26, Sugar Land resident Apurva Parikh played an important |

| 8 | 9 | | role in helping the community respond to this unprecedented |

| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Parikh coordinated the delivery of food and |

| 11 | 12 | | supplies for those seeking refuge from the cold; he also organized |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | PPE drives to help ensure the safety of citizens in Fort Bend |

| 13 | 14 | | County, and he assisted with handing out meals within the |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | community; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Demonstrating exceptional initiative and |

| 16 | 17 | | perseverance during a time of crisis, Apurva Parikh dedicated time |

| 17 | 18 | | and resources to help those in need, and he is indeed deserving of |

| 18 | 19 | | special recognition for his efforts; now, therefore, be it |

| 19 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |

| 20 | 21 | | Legislature hereby honor Apurva Parikh for his outstanding service |
