 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever treasure their
 memories of Jerry Don Noles of McGregor, who died on April 30, 2020,
 at the age of 81; and
 WHEREAS, Jerry Noles was born in Dallas on July 4, 1938, to
 Willis and May Ruth Noles, and he grew up near Roby with a brother,
 Billy; after graduating from Rotan High School in 1956, he entered
 law enforcement as an officer with the Brownfield Police
 Department; in 1962, he attended the Texas Game Warden Training
 Academy at Texas A&M University and embarked on a career with the
 State of Texas that spanned 23 years until his retirement; and
 WHEREAS, Active in his community, Mr. Noles was a member of
 the Gatesville Riding Club, the Coryell County 4-H Club, and the Top
 Hand Cowboy Church in Valley Mills, as well as a 32nd degree Mason;
 and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Noles shared a rewarding marriage with his wife,
 Patsy, that spanned 35 years; he took great pride in his daughters,
 Debra, Brenda, and Beverly, and his stepdaughter, Tammy, and he was
 further blessed with seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren,
 and two great-great-grandchildren; he especially delighted in the
 time he spent with his family at their cabin in Laguna Park,
 boating, fishing, and telling stories; and
 WHEREAS, A devoted husband, father, and grandfather and a
 respected law enforcement professional, Jerry Noles lived a caring
 and purposeful life, and he will forever be remembered with deep
 affection by all who held him close to their hearts; now, therefore,
 be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Jerry Don Noles and
 extend heartfelt sympathy to his family and many friends; and, be it
 further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jerry Don
 Noles.
