| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, A life made rich through meaningful service drew to |

| 6 | 7 | | a close with the passing of Captain Randal Dwayne Robinson of the |

| 7 | 8 | | Fort Worth Fire Department on December 17, 2020, at the age of 64; |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, The son of Guy and Wyvonne Willis Robinson, Randy |

| 10 | 11 | | Robinson was born in Mineral Wells on March 10, 1956; he grew up in |

| 11 | 12 | | Fort Worth with the companionship of a brother, Robert, and he |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | graduated from Haltom High School in 1974; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, In 1981, Mr. Robinson joined the Fort Worth Fire |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | Department, where he served for 39 years; he instructed and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | mentored firefighters in the training academy and was the air crash |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | captain at Station 35 at Fort Worth Alliance Airport for the past |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | two decades; in addition to his career as a firefighter, he worked |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | as an endoscopy nurse at the Digestive Health Center of Bedford for |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | 19 years; and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Captain Robinson and his former wife, Nancy |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | Robinson, were blessed with two children, Lauren and Brian; he |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | later enjoyed the love and support of Lorelei Mauldin, with whom he |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | shared his life for 12 years until her passing in August 2020; |

| 24 | 25 | | through the years, he had the pleasure of seeing his family grow to |

| 25 | 26 | | include three grandchildren, Brooke, Luke, and Liam; and |

| 26 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Admired for his strength and integrity, Randy |

| 27 | 28 | | Robinson lived a caring and purposeful life, and he leaves behind a |

| 28 | 29 | | record of service that his loved ones can remember with pride; now, |

| 30 | 31 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
