 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the
 passing of Jerry Moon Mullins of Weatherford on October 25, 2019, at
 the age of 68; and
 WHEREAS, The son of John and Margaret Mullins, Jerry Mullins
 was born in Rochester, Indiana, on January 13, 1951; he was raised
 by his father and his stepmother, Patricia Mullins, and he grew up
 with six siblings, Judy, Joyce, Steve, Terry, Deborah, and Cynthia;
 a 1969 graduate of Triton High School, he earned degrees in aviation
 electronics and business management from Purdue University; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Mullins embarked on his career in 1973 as a
 supervisor for Texas Instruments; he next secured a management
 position with General Dynamics in 1978, and he worked there until
 1993, when he was named president and CEO of Heli-Dyne Systems; in
 2004, he took on the roles of president and CEO for Enstrom
 Helicopter Corporation, and a decade later he became a consultant
 for KMI Fabricators, Inc., serving in that capacity through 2019;
 and
 WHEREAS, Above all, Mr. Mullins treasured time spent with his
 family; he shared a rewarding marriage of four and a half decades
 with his wife, the former Nancy Oldfield, and he was the devoted
 father of two sons, Matthew Mullins and the late Clinton Mullins;
 moreover, he took tremendous pride in his two grandchildren,
 Bryleigh and Braden; a problem solver by nature, he was admired for
 his building skills, and he enjoyed boating, operating remote
 control helicopters, and playing golf, tennis, and basketball; a
 man of faith, he was a valued member of Trinity Bible Church in
 Willow Park; and
 WHEREAS, Admired for his integrity, kindness, and
 generosity, Jerry Mullins lived a caring and purposeful life, and
 he will forever be a source of inspiration to those he leaves
 behind; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Jerry Moon Mullins
 and extend sincere condolences to his many relatives and friends;
 and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jerry
 Mullins.
