45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, The Palmer Independent School District is making a
67 positive difference in the local community by providing area youth
78 with a solid educational foundation on which to build; and
89 WHEREAS, Serving more than 1,200 students, Palmer ISD seeks
910 to foster a challenging and supportive learning environment where
1011 young people are equipped to excel in every aspect of their
1112 education; located in Ellis County, the district conducts classes
1213 for prekindergarten through 12th grade at its three campuses and
1314 has an average teacher-to-student ratio of one to 14; and
1415 WHEREAS, Palmer ISD is ably guided by superintendent Kevin
1516 Noack, and it also benefits from the leadership of its board of
1617 trustees, which includes president Christen Vick, vice president
1718 Kelley Cruzan, secretary Raul Medina Jr., and members Jeremy
1819 Robinson, Daniel McDonald, Gary Barnes, and Jeffery Greenlee; and
1920 WHEREAS, The administrators, teachers, staff, and school
2021 board of Palmer ISD have helped to provide many young Texans with
2122 the knowledge and skills they need to become productive members of
2223 society, and the district is indeed deserving of special
2324 recognition for its significant contributions; now, therefore, be
2425 it
2526 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
2627 Legislature hereby honor the Palmer Independent School District for
2728 its service to area youth and extend to all those associated with
2829 the district sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
2930 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3031 prepared for Palmer ISD as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3132 House of Representatives.
