| 9 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 49.2122(a-1), Water Code, is amended to | |
| 11 | 11 | read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (a-1) Notwithstanding Subsection (a), a district or water | |
| 13 | 13 | supply corporation that provides nonsubmetered master metered | |
| 14 | 14 | utility service, as defined by Section 13.087(a)(1), to a | |
| 15 | 15 | recreational vehicle park, as defined by Section 13.087(a)(3): | |
| 16 | 16 | (1) shall determine the rates for that service on the | |
| 17 | 17 | same basis the district or water supply corporation uses to | |
| 18 | 18 | determine the rates for other commercial businesses that serve | |
| 19 | 19 | transient customers and receive nonsubmetered master metered | |
| 20 | 20 | utility service from the district or water supply corporation; and | |
| 21 | 21 | (2) may not charge a person who owns or operates a | |
| 22 | 22 | recreational vehicle park that receives nonsubmetered master | |
| 23 | 23 | metered utility service from the district or water supply | |
| 24 | 24 | corporation an administrative fee for the services provided. | |
| 25 | 25 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
