Kolkhorst, Chair, Senate Committee on Health & Human Services     FROM: Jerry McGinty, Director, Legislative Budget Board      IN RE: SB183 by Perry (Relating to emergency medical services subscription programs and reciprocity agreements between certain air ambulance companies operating a subscription program.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted     No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would require the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to adopt rules to establish minimum standards for the creation and operation of an air ambulance subscription program. HHSC and the Department of State Health Services indicated the provisions of the bill could be implemented using existing resources.  Local Government ImpactNo fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
