| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Subtitle C, Title 4, Special District Local Laws | |
| 11 | 11 | Code, is amended by adding Chapter 3991 to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | CHAPTER 3991. CONROE MUNICIPAL MANAGEMENT DISTRICT NO. 2 | |
| 13 | 13 | SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS | |
| 14 | 14 | Sec. 3991.0101. DEFINITIONS. In this chapter: | |
| 15 | 15 | (1) "Board" means the district's board of directors. | |
| 16 | 16 | (2) "Commission" means the Texas Commission on | |
| 17 | 17 | Environmental Quality. | |
| 18 | 18 | (3) "Director" means a board member. | |
| 19 | 19 | (4) "District" means the Conroe Municipal Management | |
| 20 | 20 | District No. 2 created by an order of the commission on August 14, | |
| 21 | 21 | 2019. | |
| 22 | 22 | SUBCHAPTER B. BOARD OF DIRECTORS | |
| 23 | 23 | Sec. 3991.0201. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES. (a) The district | |
| 24 | 24 | may compensate each director in an amount not to exceed $150 for | |
| 25 | 25 | each board meeting. The total amount of compensation for each | |
| 26 | 26 | director in one year may not exceed $7,200. | |
| 27 | 27 | (b) A director is entitled to reimbursement for necessary | |
| 28 | 28 | and reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out the duties and | |
| 29 | 29 | responsibilities of the board. | |
| 30 | 30 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
