| 12 | 11 | between the early voting period and election day. | |
| 13 | 12 | (b) The secretary of state shall, not later than September | |
| 14 | 13 | 1, 2022, submit a report on the secretary's findings to the | |
| 15 | 14 | legislature. | |
| 16 | 15 | (c) The study must include information on how other states | |
| 17 | 16 | conduct the voting period, the implications of the use of paper | |
| 18 | 17 | ballots, and recommendations for statutory changes. | |
| 19 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
