It is assumed that the costs associated with the bill's provisions relating to the adoption of uniform general conditions for building construction contracts entered into by school districts and the composition of the committee that reviews uniform general conditions could be absorbed using existing resources.  Local Government ImpactThe bill's provisions allowing for a consistent contractual construction agreement using uniform general conditions could increase participation in bidding for school district and charter schools, resulting in more competitive pricing and fewer claims and disputes through the execution of contracts.
