| 13 | 13 | CHAPTER 150B. REQUIREMENTS FOR ACTIONS INVOLVING CERTAIN DEBTS | |
| 14 | 14 | Sec. 150B.0001. VERIFIED ACCOUNTING REQUIRED IN CERTAIN | |
| 15 | 15 | ACTIONS. An applicant for an expedited order allowing foreclosure | |
| 16 | 16 | of a lien on residential real property under Rule 736, Texas Rules | |
| 17 | 17 | of Civil Procedure, a petitioner in an action for judicial | |
| 18 | 18 | foreclosure of a lien on residential real property, or a claimant | |
| 19 | 19 | seeking recovery in an action on a consumer credit account must file | |
| 20 | 20 | with the application, petition, or pleading a verified accounting | |
| 21 | 21 | of: | |
| 22 | 22 | (1) the balance due on the account; | |
| 23 | 23 | (2) each payment made on the account; and | |
| 24 | 24 | (3) the total and final principal amount on the | |
| 25 | 25 | account. | |
| 26 | 26 | SECTION 2. Section 150B.0001, Civil Practice and Remedies | |
| 27 | 27 | Code, as added by this Act, applies only to an action that commences | |
| 28 | 28 | on or after the effective date of this Act. | |
| 29 | 29 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
