| 11 | 11 | Code, is amended by adding Section 11.394 to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | Sec. 11.394. NOTICE TO STATE LEGISLATORS. The commission | |
| 13 | 13 | shall give notice of an application for a permit or renewal of a | |
| 14 | 14 | permit under this code to the state senator and the state | |
| 15 | 15 | representative who represent the district in which the premises are | |
| 16 | 16 | located. | |
| 17 | 17 | SECTION 2. Subchapter B, Chapter 61, Alcoholic Beverage | |
| 18 | 18 | Code, is amended by adding Section 61.383 to read as follows: | |
| 19 | 19 | Sec. 61.383. NOTICE TO STATE LEGISLATORS. The commission | |
| 20 | 20 | shall give notice of an application for a license or renewal of a | |
| 21 | 21 | license under this code to the state senator and the state | |
| 22 | 22 | representative who represent the district in which the premises are | |
| 23 | 23 | located. | |
| 24 | 24 | SECTION 3. Sections 11.394 and 61.383, Alcoholic Beverage | |
| 25 | 25 | Code, as added by this Act, apply only to an original or renewal | |
| 26 | 26 | permit or license application filed on or after the effective date | |
| 27 | 27 | of this Act. | |
| 28 | 28 | SECTION 4. This Act takes effect September 1, 2021. |
