| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, January 8, 2021, will be a day long cherished and |

| 3 | 3 | | remembered by Lillyan Baker Duck and Lloyd Nolan Duck III, for on |

| 4 | 4 | | that day their son Hooper James Duck was born; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The beautiful baby boy was born in Austin at 4:41 |

| 6 | 6 | | p.m.; he weighed three pounds 15 ounces and was 17 and one-half |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | inches long; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Hooper's safe arrival is the fulfillment of his |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | parents' dearest wish, and they are thrilled over the birth of |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | their son; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, This blessed event has brought great happiness to |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Hooper's family; his grandparents, Tony and Jamie Baker and the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Reverend Lloyd Nolan Duck Jr. and Nancy Duck, are filled with joy |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | over the arrival of this long-awaited infant, who has a permanent |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | place in their hearts; and |

| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, It is indeed appropriate that the Texas Senate |

| 17 | 17 | | welcome this recently born Texan as a treasured citizen of the |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Lone Star State; now, therefore, be it |

| 19 | 19 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th |

| 20 | 20 | | Legislature, hereby congratulate Lillyan and Lloyd Duck on the |

| 21 | 21 | | birth of their son and extend best wishes for the brightest of |
