| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Lloyd Tisdale for his outstanding service as a member |
|---|
| 4 | 4 | | of the San Jacinto River Authority Board of Directors; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, In the course of his 25 years of service on the |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | board of directors, Lloyd Tisdale has served as its president and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | has served under three Texas governors; as president of the |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | board, he provided strong and decisive leadership, and his |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | expertise and guidance were invaluable assets to the agency; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Tisdale has led a notable career as a business |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | leader in the engineering industry; he served as president and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | chief executive officer of the Tisdale Company, and he led the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | company in manufacturing custom designed and engineered |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | mechanical packages for industrial, marine, offshore, utility, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | and military applications; he has held leadership positions on |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | the boards of numerous councils, civic organizations, and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | community groups in Montgomery County, including the Greater |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Conroe Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Conroe |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Economic Development Council, and the Montgomery County United |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Way; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, An exemplary citizen and community leader, Lloyd |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Tisdale has contributed greatly to the successful management and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | operation of the San Jacinto River Authority; he is respected and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | admired by his colleagues, and he has been a true asset to the |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | river authority and those it serves through his many |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | accomplishments as a member of the board of directors; now, |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | therefore, be it |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Legislature, hereby commend Lloyd Tisdale for his many |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | achievements and for his distinguished service on the San Jacinto |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | River Authority Board of Directors; and, be it further |

| 32 | 32 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
