1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 253
2	2	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
3	3	recognize the Jacksboro High School cheerleading team, which won
4	4	the 2020 University Interscholastic League Division 3A state
5	5	championship; and
6	6	WHEREAS, The Jacksboro Tiger cheerleaders were victorious
7	7	in their appearance at the state final when they defeated 78 of
8	8	the state's most talented cheerleading squads at the Fort Worth
9	9	Convention Center; and
10	10	WHEREAS, These athletes were noted for their talent and
11	11	dedication throughout the school year, and they ended the season
12	12	with a hard-fought championship; team members can take pride in
13	13	their outstanding performance; and
14	14	WHEREAS, Under the superior leadership and expertise of
15	15	skilled coaches, the Tiger cheerleaders demonstrated exceptional
16	16	teamwork and discipline; and
17	17	WHEREAS, Jacksboro High School and the City of Jacksboro
18	18	are proud of the Tiger cheerleading squad for their hard work,
19	19	their impressive skills, and their fine sportsmanship; now,
20	20	therefore, be it
21	21	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th
22	22	Legislature, hereby commend the members of the Jacksboro High
23	23	School cheerleading team on their successful season and
24	24	congratulate them on winning the 2020 Division 3A state title;
25	25	and, be it further
26	26	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
27	27	the team as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
