| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Nabors is concluding his dedicated service |

| 3 | 3 | | as a member of the Celina City Council in 2021; and |
|---|
| 4 | 4 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Nabors was first elected to the city council |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | in 2007, and over the course of his 14-year tenure, he has helped |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | to guide Celina through a period of remarkable growth, from just |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | over 6,000 residents when he took office to approximately 30,000 |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | in 2020; he has served as chair of the council's finance |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | committee; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, A certified public accountant, Mr. Nabors owns |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | his own practice, where one of his areas of expertise is |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | municipal finance; he is a graduate of The University of Texas at |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Dallas; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Ably representing the interests of his |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | constituents, Wayne Nabors may reflect with pride on all that he |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | has accomplished in behalf of his community and take satisfaction |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | in knowing that his contributions will continue to benefit its |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | residents for years to come; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Legislature, hereby commend Wayne Nabors for his service on the |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Celina City Council and extend to him sincere best wishes for the |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | future; and, be it further |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | prepared for Mr. Nabors as an expression of high regard from the |
|---|
