| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Robert Pedrigi for his outstanding service to the Texas |

| 4 | 4 | | Senate as a student intern for the Senate Committee on Veteran |

| 5 | 5 | | Affairs and Border Security; and |

| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, An exemplary citizen and an esteemed veteran of |

| 7 | 7 | | the United States Armed Forces, Robert served the committee with |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | distinction during the 87th Legislative Session; his skill and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | dedication in assisting the committee in its work played an |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | important role in the committee's ability to perform its |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | responsibilities and in the consideration of policy that |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | benefits Texas veterans and service members; and |

| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Over the course of the session, Mr. Pedrigi gained |

| 14 | 14 | | firsthand knowledge of the governmental process and work |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | experience in a political environment, as well as insight into key |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | issues facing our communities and our state; his service as an |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | intern was in keeping with the highest traditions of the United |

| 18 | 18 | | States Armed Forces, and his contributions to the committee have |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | been a great credit to himself, his institution of higher |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | education, and the military community; now, therefore, be it |

| 21 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th |

| 22 | 22 | | Legislature, hereby commend Robert Pedrigi for his excellent |

| 23 | 23 | | service to the Texas Senate as an intern for the Senate Committee |

| 24 | 24 | | on Veteran Affairs and Border Security and extend to him sincere |
