| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | commemorates the life of Amanda Denise Broderick, whose life was |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | tragically cut short on April 18, 2021, at the age of 35; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Amanda Broderick was born to Charlene and Edward |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Ramirez on July 17, 1985, in Nampa, Idaho; she was devoted to her |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | parents and siblings, and she cherished her two children, Cayden |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Broderick and the late Alyssa Broderick; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Amanda engaged in life with joy and vigor, and her |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | boundless positivity inspired and uplifted her many friends and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | loved ones; she enjoyed dancing, running, hiking, and traveling; |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | above all things, she looked forward to spending time with her |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | children and cheering them on from the bleachers at all of their |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | games; and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, A gentle spirit with a true heart for others, |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Amanda found fulfillment working in the health care industry, and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | she was always ready to comfort a friend or a loved one in need; |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | she was beloved by many, and she leaves behind memories that will |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | long be treasured by all who were privileged to share in her life; |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | family of Amanda Denise Broderick; and, be it further |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in |
