| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, Ansh Samdaria has ably served his fellow Texans as |

| 3 | 3 | | an intern in the office of State Senator Donna Campbell during |

| 4 | 4 | | the 87th Legislative Session; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Samdaria has |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | challenging tasks; in addition to gaining valuable experience in |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | the field of public service, he has learned more about the |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Star State; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, The son of Amber and Gunjan Samdaria, |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Mr. Samdaria is pursuing a philosophy and government degree at |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | The University of Texas at Austin; he plans to attend law school |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | and hopes to pursue a career in criminal law and politics; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Samdaria has gained valuable experience |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | working for the Collin County and Travis County district |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | attorneys; the junior chair for TX Votes at UT Austin, he is |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | researching political participation during the COVID-19 pandemic |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | and the metaphysics of ideological fascism; during the pandemic, |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | he has volunteered with the Texas Workforce Commission and has |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | helped at UT vaccination hubs; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | is indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 87th |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Legislature, hereby commend Ansh Samdaria for his service as a |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | legislative intern in the office of Senator Donna Campbell and |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all |
