| 8 | 8 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 9 | 9 | SECTION 1. Section 13.046(h), Election Code, is amended to | |
| 10 | 10 | read as follows: | |
| 11 | 11 | (h) The secretary of state shall: | |
| 12 | 12 | (1) consult with the Texas Education Agency regarding | |
| 13 | 13 | the number of registration application forms to provide to each | |
| 14 | 14 | high school; | |
| 15 | 15 | (2) provide to each high school registration | |
| 16 | 16 | application forms once each fall and spring semester in the number | |
| 17 | 17 | determined from the consultation under Subdivision (1); and | |
| 18 | 18 | (3) prescribe any additional procedures necessary to | |
| 19 | 19 | implement this section. | |
| 20 | 20 | SECTION 2. This Act applies beginning with the spring | |
| 21 | 21 | semester of the 2021-2022 school year. | |
| 22 | 22 | SECTION 3. This Act takes effect on the 91st day after the | |
| 23 | 23 | last day of the legislative session. |
