45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, The members of Girl Scout Daisy Troop 101015 in
67 Tyler County are gathering together on August 24, 2021, for the
78 inaugural meeting of their group; and
89 WHEREAS, Known as Daisies, Girl Scouts in kindergarten and
910 first grade participate in enriching experiences designed to foster
1011 friendship and develop leadership skills, such as field trips,
1112 community service initiatives, and outdoor activities; and
1213 WHEREAS, Organized by local mother Wuisayo Kuciemba, Troop
1314 101015 currently has around six members; the group plans to meet
1415 twice a month at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Woodville, and
1516 several events have already been scheduled, including a bonfire
1617 with nearby troops and a service project that involves gardening at
1718 The Orchard assisted living community in Woodville; and
1819 WHEREAS, Troop 101015 is sure to provide its Daisies with
1920 countless meaningful memories as well as a solid foundation for
2021 future achievement, and the group is a welcome addition to the Tyler
2122 County community; now, therefore, be it
2223 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
2324 Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commemorate the founding of
2425 Girl Scout Daisy Troop 101015 and extend to Wuisayo Kuciemba and the
2526 troop's members sincere best wishes for a fun and rewarding first
2627 year; and, be it further
2728 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2829 prepared for the troop as an expression of high regard by the Texas
2930 House of Representatives.
