| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the |

| 6 | 7 | | passing of James William Kellogg Jr. on August 16, 2021, at the age |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Jim Kellogg was born on December 10, 1949, in |

| 9 | 10 | | Houston; a longtime resident of the Brazosport area, he retired |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | from the Dow Chemical Company before embarking on a second career in |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | jobsite safety management; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Kellogg benefited from the |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | love and support of his wife, Linda, with whom he shared a rewarding |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | marriage that spanned nearly four and a half decades; he was a |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | devoted father to their three daughters, Saril, Amy, and Liz, and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | with the passing years, he had the pleasure of seeing his family |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | grow to include nine grandchildren; he was sustained by a strong |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | faith throughout his life, and he had a passion for serving others; |

| 19 | 20 | | in his later years, he enjoyed tending to his neighbors' lawns; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Although Jim Kellogg is greatly missed, memories of |

| 21 | 22 | | his selflessness, his wonderful sense of humor, and his dedication |

| 22 | 23 | | to his loved ones remain to comfort and inspire those he leaves |
