| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The 50th birthday of an esteemed Texan is truly |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Born in Mumbai, India, in 1971, Mr. Motiwala and his |

| 9 | 10 | | brother Sajid immigrated to the United States in 1992, and they soon |

| 10 | 11 | | began working in a small jewelry store in Austin; and |

| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Inspired by his role model, Warren Buffett, |

| 12 | 13 | | Mr. Motiwala and his brother saved enough money to open their own |

| 13 | 14 | | store, starting with a kiosk in Houston; in 1997, they opened Regal |

| 14 | 15 | | Jewelers in Victoria, and the business continues to thrive today; |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, An American citizen since 2013, Mr. Motiwala is also |

| 17 | 18 | | the co-owner of Alings Chinese Bistro in Sugar Land; when he is not |

| 19 | 20 | | movies, and hanging out with his children; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, With the passage of another year, Irfan Motiwala may |

| 21 | 22 | | reflect with great satisfaction on his many achievements, and it is |
