| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Jacob Pesikoff has ably served his fellow Texans as |

| 6 | 6 | | an intern in the office of State Representative Ann Johnson during |

| 7 | 7 | | the 87th Legislative Session; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Pesikoff has provided |

| 9 | 9 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |

| 10 | 10 | | including conducting policy research, tracking bills, and meeting |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | with constituents and advocacy groups; in addition to gaining |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | valuable experience in the field of public service, he has learned |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, An alumnus of St. John's School in Houston, |

| 16 | 16 | | Mr. Pesikoff graduated with honors from Williams College; while |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | pursuing his mathematics degree, he served as head class |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | development agent for the school and was a member of Sigma Xi and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | the analytics club; moreover, he has completed internships with the |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in the chambers of the Honorable |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Jennifer Elrod, the offices of U.S. Congress members Richard Neal |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | and Lizzie Fletcher, Angerholzer Broz Consulting, a judicial |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | campaign, and Sunnova Energy; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |

| 25 | 25 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is |

| 26 | 26 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
