44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Jacob Pesikoff has ably served his fellow Texans as
66 an intern in the office of State Representative Ann Johnson during
77 the 87th Legislative Session; and
88 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Pesikoff has provided
99 vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
1010 including conducting policy research, tracking bills, and meeting
1111 with constituents and advocacy groups; in addition to gaining
1212 valuable experience in the field of public service, he has learned
1313 more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens
1414 of the Lone Star State; and
1515 WHEREAS, An alumnus of St. John's School in Houston,
1616 Mr. Pesikoff graduated with honors from Williams College; while
1717 pursuing his mathematics degree, he served as head class
1818 development agent for the school and was a member of Sigma Xi and
1919 the analytics club; moreover, he has completed internships with the
2020 Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in the chambers of the Honorable
2121 Jennifer Elrod, the offices of U.S. Congress members Richard Neal
2222 and Lizzie Fletcher, Angerholzer Broz Consulting, a judicial
2323 campaign, and Sunnova Energy; and
2424 WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his
2525 duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is
2626 indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
2727 therefore, be it
2828 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
2929 Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Jacob Pesikoff for
3030 his service as a legislative intern in the office of State
3131 Representative Ann Johnson and extends its sincerest best wishes
3232 for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further
3333 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3434 prepared for Mr. Pesikoff as an expression of high regard by the
3535 Texas House of Representatives.
