No. 185 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Caitlin Rowley has ably served her fellow Texans as an aide in the office of State Representative Ann Johnson during the 87th Legislative Session; and WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Rowley has provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, including supporting Representative Johnson in her role on the House Appropriations Committee, researching Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program, and tracking and analyzing state health policy proposals; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and WHEREAS, Ms. Rowley previously interned with the House State Affairs Committee and with The Sheridan Group in Washington, D.C.; in May 2021, she graduated from The University of Texas at Austin Liberal Arts Honors Program with a bachelor's degree in health and society; she has further distinguished herself as co-chair of The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation National Council of College Leaders and as a member of the Texas Children's Hospital Patient Advisory Board; and WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Caitlin Rowley for her service as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative Ann Johnson and extends its sincerest best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Ms. Rowley as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
