| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Caitlin Rowley has ably served her fellow Texans as |

| 6 | 6 | | an aide in the office of State Representative Ann Johnson during the |

| 7 | 7 | | 87th Legislative Session; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Rowley has provided |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | including supporting Representative Johnson in her role on the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | House Appropriations Committee, researching Medicaid and the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Children's Health Insurance Program, and tracking and analyzing |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | state health policy proposals; in addition to gaining valuable |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | experience in the field of public service, she has learned more |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Rowley previously interned with the House State |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Affairs Committee and with The Sheridan Group in Washington, D.C.; |

| 19 | 19 | | in May 2021, she graduated from The University of Texas at Austin |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Liberal Arts Honors Program with a bachelor's degree in health and |

| 21 | 21 | | society; she has further distinguished herself as co-chair of The |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Crohn's and Colitis Foundation National Council of College Leaders |

| 23 | 23 | | and as a member of the Texas Children's Hospital Patient Advisory |

| 24 | 24 | | Board; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a |

| 26 | 26 | | legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |

| 29 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |

| 30 | 30 | | Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Caitlin Rowley for |
