| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories |

| 6 | 7 | | of Patricia Ryan Keesee of Linden, who passed away on July 19, 2021, |

| 7 | 8 | | at the age of 81; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Guy Gerald and Wilma Findley Ryan, |

| 9 | 10 | | the former Patricia Ryan was born in Longview on June 11, 1940, and |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | she was raised with the companionship of her sister, Carolyn; she |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | went on to earn her bachelor's degree from East Texas Baptist |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | University and her master's degree from Texas A&M |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | University-Commerce; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, For more than 25 years, Mrs. Keesee taught at public |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | schools in Hooks, Marshall, and Linden; she was dedicated to her |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | profession, and she held membership in a number of educators' |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | associations; in addition, she belonged to the American Radio Relay |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | League, and she attended services at the First Baptist Church in |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | Linden; and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Mrs. Keesee shared a rewarding marriage with her |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | husband, Billy Joe Keesee, who preceded her in death; she was the |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | loving mother of three children, Kim, Todd, and the late Eddy |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | Keesee, and she was further blessed with four grandchildren, Kade, |

| 24 | 25 | | Keri, Brooke, and Kelsey, and four great-grandchildren, Madison, |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | Corbin, Adalynn, and Kylie; and |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Patricia Keesee was a source of joy and inspiration |

| 27 | 28 | | to her loved ones, and they will forever hold her close in their |

| 28 | 29 | | hearts; now, therefore, be it |

| 29 | 30 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |
