| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The Cenikor Foundation, a nonprofit organization |

| 7 | 8 | | addiction, is celebrating the 55th anniversary of its founding in |

|---|
| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Operating at nearly a dozen locations throughout the |

| 10 | 11 | | state of Texas, the Cenikor Foundation administers adult and youth |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | recovery programs that are certified by the Commission on |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities; its spectrum of care |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | includes prevention services, short-term residential treatment, |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | outpatient treatment, detoxification services, and a new sober |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | living program, which provide clients with various ways to work |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | toward long-term sobriety while also accommodating their schedules |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | and individual needs; and |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Last year, the Cenikor Foundation served close to |

| 19 | 20 | | 400 people in the Fort Worth Community; its Fort Worth facility |

| 20 | 21 | | offers inpatient and outpatient detox, prevention, and recovery |

| 21 | 22 | | programs, as well as short-term residential care; and |

| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, For over half a century, the Cenikor Foundation has |

| 23 | 24 | | been a critical lifeline for thousands of Texans, including many |

| 24 | 25 | | Fort Worth residents, and this anniversary celebration presents a |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | welcome opportunity to recognize a truly commendable organization; |

| 27 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas |

| 28 | 29 | | Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby congratulate the Cenikor |
